The Eco-conscious 2023 Wedding Trends

It all begins with an idea.

We wanted to start 2023 with a huge thank to all our couples from 2022 and before, we loved being part of your special day and making it a day to remember.

2022 was our busiest year yet and we have defiantly reflected on our achievements and where we would like to take the business going forward.

Since my years working in the sustainable fashion industry my main goals for the business was to focus on sustainability and creating wedding that are couple focussed and having the least amount of impact on the environment.

Don't worry I'm not going to start gluing myself to the driveway of a wedding venues or throwing red paint on the bride and groom to address the issue.

The focus instead will be on how small changes can often make a huge difference.

Over the next few weeks I will be looking at the wedding trends of 2023 that will set you aside from other couples and give you that warm and fussy feeling inside, that you made a difference with your choices.

Join the rented clothing revolution

Favoured by many celebrities this trend has really taken off over the last few years. They are rented from a growing band of eco-luxe clothes hire companies who are striving to make fashion more sustainable (and affordable).

And for as little as £8 a day, you could rent them too.

Renting not only makes financial sense but also environmental sense.

Second hand is first class, whether it being vintage, a family heirloom or a second-hand there are many places you can acquire a beautiful dress that will not cost you the earth, literally.

A great idea is to reuse vintage and family heirloom dresses and suits for the wedding day. It will add a very personal touch to the day, and it is a great way to be eco-friendly.

Second hand is now far easier now than it was years ago and is much more acceptable with the many online platforms with always bricks-and-mortar options available.
